Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Chris. I have been a therapist for over eight years, and I would describe myself as laid-back, honest, open-minded, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself while also receiving support that is direct, practical, and helpful.

I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, men’s issues, family conflict, relationship challenges, stress management concerns, anger, ADHD, substance use, sleep difficulties, grief and loss, and PTSD. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, frustrated, or unsure how to move forward. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can talk openly, better understand what is affecting your life, and develop tools that help you create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy. I believe each person has the ability to grow, heal, and make positive changes when they feel understood and supported. Therapy with me is collaborative, respectful, and focused on helping you better understand yourself, your thoughts, your emotions, and your relationships.

Using CBT, we may look at how thought patterns and behaviors contribute to anxiety, depression, anger, stress, or feeling stuck. With a humanistic approach, we will also focus on your strengths, values, goals, and lived experience. For clients working through family or relationship challenges, Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy can help identify patterns, improve communication, and support healthier interactions. Together, we will build practical skills that fit your life and help you move toward greater stability and confidence.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a relaxed, honest, and nonjudgmental environment where you can get to know my style and decide whether it feels like a good fit. In our first sessions, we will talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been difficult recently, and what you hope will change.

I will work with you to identify goals and explore how my approach and techniques can support you. Over time, therapy may help you manage anxiety or depression, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, communicate more effectively, reduce stress, and better understand the patterns that may be affecting your daily life. My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and more confident in your ability to handle life’s challenges.
