Great to meet you!

Having worked as a therapist/counselor for over 5 years, I have had the fortunate opportunity to work in a diversity of settings and with diverse client populations including children & families, couples, military, LGBTQ+, trauma, substance misuse and family estrangement. I believe therapy is an opportunity to better understand ourselves, while learning to stop repeating the cycles that bring us to the same destinations.

My approach to therapy

I believe a positive and healthy therapeutic experience requires open and direct communication from all parties, where there is an equal investment of attention and intention. I focus on meeting people where they are at, with the intention of being seen and truly heard.

What you can expect from me

What you can expect throughout our sessions, starting on day 1, is someone who is passionate about their work, and do not see this simply as a job. I want all of my clients to truly feel heard and seen. I do my best to be direct with communication, while having our sessions feel more like a genuine conversation, than talking to a robot.

Your initial intake session will be comprised of something called a biopsychosocial assessment, where I will ask about your background and your goals for therapy and in life.
