Great to meet you!

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive clinical experience treating adults with mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma-related conditions, including depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD.

My approach is both evidence-based and human-centered combining psychiatric expertise with a practical understanding of how mental health affects daily functioning, relationships, and physical well-being.

If you're looking for thoughtful, individualized care rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, I'd welcome the opportunity to work with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, respectful, and clinically grounded. I take time to listen carefully so you feel understood and supported, while also receiving clear diagnostic guidance and treatment recommendations.

Each person's experience is different, so treatment plans are individualized based on your symptoms, goals, medical history, and preferences. I provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, stress-related concerns, and emotional factors related to weight and body image.

Effective care comes from combining clinical expertise with a strong therapeutic alliance. My role is to help you understand what's happening, identify practical next steps, and move forward with confidence and stability.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is a structured, thorough evaluation focused on understanding you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms. We'll review your current concerns, history, medical background, medications, and lifestyle factors that may be affecting your mental health, with targeted questions to clarify patterns, timing of symptoms, and contributing stressors so we can build an accurate clinical picture.

You can expect a thoughtful, collaborative conversation rather than a rushed appointment. I'll explain what I'm hearing, discuss possible diagnoses if appropriate, and outline evidence-based treatment options — which may include medication, therapy considerations, lifestyle strategies, or a combination, depending on your needs and preferences.

By the end of the session, you'll have a clear understanding of next steps, a plan tailored to your goals, and the chance to ask questions so you feel confident moving forward.
