Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Christy. I have 20 years’ experience working with people of all ages who are facing grief, loss, and trauma and who are navigating life transitions big and small. I love to be a part of people-healing—to help each person discover their own strength and resilience, while encouraging and engaging them in their own healing. I've supported people of all ages, from preschoolers to teens, and those in all stages of adulthood.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in EMDR, and I love helping people reprocess difficult memories using this technique. I also focus on narrative therapy—guiding individuals as they reframe their stories and come up with strategies to live better and heal pain. I believe each person has what it takes inside of them to find the support they need and reach their full potential.

What you can expect from me

During our initial sessions, we'll take time to hear and empathize with your story of 'what happened,’ but also listen for themes of resilience, courage, and strength. In future sessions, we may choose to use EMDR to help with the reprocessing of difficult memories and times.
