Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in couple’s counseling. For the past eight years, I have worked in a clinical capacity with adults, couples, adolescents, and children. This includes, but is not limited to therapeutic interventions, treatment plans, and case management. I have experience in the utilization of DBT and CBT in psychotherapy, working with all populations. I have also completed Levels 3 of Gottman Couple’s Counseling and EMDR training.
My approach is a combination of EMDR, CBT, DBT, and the utilization of the Gottman Approach
My goal is to involve each of my clients in the goal setting and treatment process, by exploring what it is that they hope to gain from therapy. I also utilize a combination of approaches when working with clients, depending on their presenting need. I have been trained in Cognitive behavioral trauma-focused therapy, oppositional defiance disorder, and dialectical behavioral therapy. My wish is that my clients can improve their day-to-day lives and ability to cope with stressors.
