Christy McCornack

I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Biblical Studies from Colorado Christian University and a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University/Atlanta. I studied Comparative Religion at Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Colorado. I work with adults who are seeking a more meaningful connection in life, who may also be struggling with mental health challenges.

I believe that we are most happy when we live a life that is consistent with our values. My approach is strength-based and insight focused, meaning we will focus on what you do well, what matters to you, and bringing awareness to you as a whole person. We willl focus on bringing more awareness to how you experience the world so you can begin to make more informed decisions and make the changes that will bring you more happiness and peace in your life.

I hope that when you see me for therapy, your first experience is that you are seen and heard and empowered to explore the things that you fear, that have caused you pain, but also to seek out the things that give you life and bring meaning for you. I have done my own therapy and know how hard it can be to come and talk to a stranger about the things you fear most. My relationship with you is my first priority and I value the courage it takes to take that first step.
