Great to meet you!

Hi there, I'm Christy!

I work with adults and adolescents navigating depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and women's issues. I take a nonjudgmental stance, and together we can work to achieve your goals and move past the challenges you face.

My focus

I work with teens, young adults, and middle-aged adults dealing with life transitions and social pressures that show up as depression, anxiety, and stress. My focus is on helping you navigate difficult transitions and build skills that allow you to feel better about yourself and develop an optimistic outlook.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been passionate about helping others. From volunteering in my community to being a trusted and compassionate friend, I've found that helping those around me brings me joy.

My approach to therapy

My approach varies based on your needs. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors, along with solution-focused and strength-based methods that use your strengths to build solutions. My communication is accommodating, with active listening and empathy that feels calm. I use a supportive, validating, and compassionate tone.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I like to get to know you and will ask background questions to gather information and figure out the best way I can help.
