Great to meet you!

I completed my undergrad at the esteemed HBCU, Spelman College, majoring in psychology and attended UCLA for my graduate program. For nearly 10 years, I worked at a well-known mental health clinic. As a lead clinician, I saw how shame and insecurity around getting help made things far worse.

Therapy has to be a space where you can “let it all out”, receive gentle guidance while confronting challenges and truths to ultimately feel better.

My approach to therapy

In my 20+ years of experience, I know that peace of mind comes from a willingness to accept and navigate through the ebbs and flows of life with greater insight, patience & love.

No matter how small you think it may be, every step you take toward bettering yourself is progress, and that’s a vital part of the healing process. I'm not an advice giver. the goal is to leave you feeling more certain & trusting in your perceptions, your relationships, the way you make decisions and live your life.

What you can expect from me

Get the insight you need for healthier coping skills and discover your own safe space when you work with me. Dive into self-exploration and release the worries, feelings, vulnerabilities that you’ve been holding onto without the burden of judgement or criticism.
