Great to meet you!

Choosing a mental health provider is a deeply personal decision, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported from the very first appointment. I believe that healing begins with trust, and I strive to build a therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than a decade of nursing experience caring for individuals across emergency medicine, ambulatory care, leadership, and behavioral health. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the connection between mental and physical health and have shaped my compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. I also have specialized training and experience in addiction medicine and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), helping individuals find stability and hope while supporting long-term recovery.

My approach to therapy

I believe every person's story is unique, so treatment should be individualized. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I take the time to understand who you are, what you've experienced, and what matters most to you. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and supports your overall well-being.

My approach combines evidence-based medication management with compassion, education, and collaboration. I want you to understand your diagnosis, feel comfortable asking questions, and actively participate in decisions about your care. While medication can be an important part of treatment, I also recognize the value of therapy, healthy lifestyle habits, stress management, and strong support systems in achieving lasting wellness.

What you can expect from me

During our first appointment, we'll spend time getting to know one another. I'll listen carefully as we discuss your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, and the goals you hope to achieve through treatment. I believe that the best care starts with listening.

Follow-up visits are an opportunity to monitor your progress, celebrate your successes, and make thoughtful adjustments when needed. Whether you're seeking support for the first time or continuing your mental health journey, my goal is for you to leave each appointment feeling heard, respected, informed, and encouraged.

Seeking help is a courageous first step, and you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. It would be an honor to partner with you as you work toward healing, greater emotional well-being, and a more fulfilling life.
