Great to meet you!

I'm here to listen and work together to help You to shape You!

After 20 years as a CPA I left the business world to bring my unique life’s experiences of serving clients, coaching teams of business professionals and personal growth to the field of counseling. As a business leader, husband and now father of young adults, I spent many hours with my own coaches and therapists who helped me understand my struggles and explore my strengths and weaknesses to make myself and those around me better.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use client/couple/family encounter-centered, strength-based, solution-focused and Cognitive-Behavioral approaches. I listen and ask questions so that you can chose the direction of your therapy; what you want and/or need to work on. We will work from your goals which may initially require a solution-focused or emotional regulation approach to provide short-term relief. At times we may need to explore your past to better understand the driver of your behaviors and/or relationship struggles.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect a warm and casual environment where I listen so you feel Seen, Heard and Valued. Where you feel respected and safe discussing what bothers you and how you feel in a non-judgemental space where I'm trustworthy. A space where we gain awareness, new ways to look at problems, possible solutions, and find techniques that make sense and work for you. Finally, a feeling of hopefulness that we can tackle your struggles together with a more positive outcome.
