Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with several years of experience in crisis care, substance use, and trauma work. I currently supervise the intake department at a behavioral hospital, where I regularly meet people during difficult moments and help them find steady ground. I work with adults navigating substance use, trauma, or other concerns, and I’ve found these experiences are often connected. My goal is to help you feel understood and supported.

My approach to therapy

I like to begin wherever you are, whether substance use is the main concern or something else brings you to therapy. Together, we’ll follow where the work needs to go. My style is steady, direct, and grounded in years of fast-paced crisis work, where clarity matters. I won’t reduce you to one label or assume one issue tells your whole story. We’ll make space for the full picture and work through it together.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, low-pressure conversation focused on your story and what brought you in. We’ll talk through what has been happening, identify what feels most important, and begin sketching out a plan that fits your life. I want you to leave with a clear sense of possible next steps, along with the comfort of knowing therapy can begin in a relaxed, straightforward way.
