Cindy Dunkle

Cindy is an experienced board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with two decades of experience in nursing as a provider and a nurse educator.

She has knowledge and experience in the treatment of depression, anxiety, stress and trauma related disorders, substance use disorder, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia.

At Better Days Mental Health & Wellness, I am passionate about working with those living with a mental health disorder because no matter what a person has been through, everyone is worthy of being happy and healthy.

I believe there is a strong connection between mental and physical health, and that together, positive changes can be made through finding practical and achievable ways to help each person reach their goals.

I specialize in adult (18+) mental health and wellness through assessment, diagnosis and treatment with education and medication management.

People are the experts in recognizing their needs, so I encourage them to be active participants in their care through collaboration and by validating their feelings and lived experiences. I will do my best to help each person move forward to live their best life and appreciate the opportunity to be a part of each persons’ journey to wellness.
