Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience helping people make the changes they want in their lives. I specialize in addiction, building healthier habits, and coping with chronic pain, stress, and mood. I won’t tell you what to do. Together we’ll figure out what matters most to you and build a realistic plan to get there. I know life is busy, so I keep our work practical and focused.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, practical, and nonjudgmental. In our first sessions, we’ll talk about what’s going on and what you’d like to change, then set clear goals together. I use proven approaches like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and DBT skills to help you build healthier habits, manage stress, and cope with difficult emotions or pain. You set the pace, and I’ll give you simple strategies to use in daily life between sessions. I especially enjoy working with people who feel stuck or unsure about making a change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask what brought you in, what’s been hard, and what you’d like to change. You won’t need to share anything you’re not ready to. By the end, we’ll have a clear first goal and a simple plan for what comes next. My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, comfortable, and a little more hopeful.
