Great to meet you!

Life has a way of nudging us toward change—sometimes gently, sometimes with a firm push. If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve reached a point where something in your life, your relationships, or even within yourself doesn’t feel quite right.

Maybe you’ve been wondering if therapy could help but worry it might be all talk and no action. That’s not how I work.I’m not the kind of therapist who just listens. I’ll tell you how I see it, drawing on over 22 years of experience, my dual licensure as a Mental Health Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist, and my own history with Mental Health challenges, divorce at age 50, parenting adult children and making new friends late in life.

Together, we’ll set clear, meaningful goals, and I’ll provide practical tools and tailored exercises to help you make progress. I believe real change happens not just in the therapy room but in your everyday life, where these tools and insights come to life.

I specialize in helping adults, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and transitions. My work focuses on strengthening relationships, finding clarity during times of change, and addressing those heavy feelings of depression and anxiety, or “just not feeling like myself.”

I know it can be hard to take that first step, but I’m here to support you. If you’re ready, let’s find a path forward together.

My approach to therapy

I am kind but also direct. I’m a therapist for people who want to make real change and I will alway lead you back to where in your life the dysfunction in thinking or actions began so we can unravel how you have learned to cope in unproductive ways.

I believe everyone can benefit from therapy as a tool to improve your understanding of self and others.

What you can expect from me

New insight into themselves, into the behavior of others and how to influence both. I will open you to new perspectives and help you make the shift to new ways of being in your life.
