Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated counseling professional committed to empowering individuals across all ages and backgrounds through compassionate, evidence‐based care. I support clients facing trauma, grief, caregiver challenges, co‐occurring disorders, and developmental or intellectual disabilities, offering a steady, person‐centered space to explore their experiences and build resilience. My work is grounded in rehabilitation counseling principles, supported by a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, helping clients strengthen coping skills and move toward meaningful change. I also bring strong leadership experience from managing counseling departments, supervising clinicians, and ensuring high‐quality, ethical care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy centers on creating a steady, supportive environment where clients and their support systems can explore their experiences and discover new possibilities for growth. I help clients recognize their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for them. Grounded in the principles of rehabilitation counseling and shaped by my Master’s degree in the field, I aim to offer guidance that is both compassionate and empowering, opening space for hope and forward movement.

What you can expect from me

A first session with me is all about helping you settle in, get comfortable, and feel supported as we begin our work together. We start slowly, giving you space to introduce yourself in whatever way feels natural — there’s no “right” or “perfect” way to begin. I’ll guide you with gentle questions, helping you share only what you’re ready to talk about while we get to know each other.

During this first meeting, we walk through a collaborative assessment that helps us understand your experiences, strengths, and the areas where you’d like support. I explain each step as we go so nothing feels confusing or rushed. You’re welcome to pause, ask questions, or take your time — the pace is always yours.

My goal in a first session is simple: to create a steady, welcoming environment where you can breathe, feel grounded, and begin exploring the possibilities for growth and support ahead. By the end of our time together, you’ll have a clearer sense of what therapy with me looks like and how we can move forward in a way that feels meaningful and manageable for you.
