Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I recognize that prioritizing mental health can be a daunting task. Taking the step to seek help is often one of the most challenging parts of the journey, so congratulations on making that decision! With over 11 years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages and various backgrounds. I genuinely appreciate the uniqueness of each of my clients.

My approach to therapy

I take great joy in working with children of all ages and backgrounds, as well as with adults. In sessions with younger clients, I often incorporate play therapy to encourage openness and engagement. This approach allows children to express themselves in a comfortable and natural way. For adult clients, I utilize talk therapy interventions, focusing on creating a safe space for dialogue and healing.

What you can expect from me

For first session feel free to ask any questions you might have about the therapy process. Some common questions include:

How will progress be measured?

What happens if I feel therapy isn’t working?

How can I prepare for future sessions?

This initial session is a collaborative effort aimed at building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. Remember, the therapist is there to support you, and open communication is key to a successful therapeutic journey.
