Great to meet you!

Everyone sees you as capable, dependable, and the one who always has it together. Yet beneath the surface, you may feel anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or wonder how much longer you can keep carrying it all on your own. Therapy can be a place where you no longer have to simply survive, but can begin to understand yourself, heal, and reconnect with the life you want to live.

I work with high-functioning adults who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, relationship concerns, and the lasting effects of unresolved life experiences or attachment wounds. Many of my clients are professionals, caregivers, and helpers who spend so much energy supporting others that they often neglect their own emotional well-being.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Polyvagal-informed therapy, and person-centered therapy to meet your unique needs and goals. Together, we'll identify the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, help your nervous system feel safer, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and create healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.

You don't have to have the right words or everything figured out before starting therapy. My goal is to provide a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported as we work together toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is about more than reducing symptoms, it is an opportunity to better understand your story, recognize the patterns influencing your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to your unique needs, values, and goals.

I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Trauma-Focused CBT, Polyvagal-informed therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and person-centered counseling. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I thoughtfully tailor each session to meet you where you are and support what will be most effective for your growth and healing.

Together, we'll work to strengthen your nervous system's ability to feel safe, develop practical coping skills, better understand emotional and relationship patterns, and process experiences that continue to influence how you see yourself and connect with others. We'll move at a pace that honors your readiness while supporting meaningful, sustainable healing.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you're used to handling everything on your own. During our first session, we'll take time to understand what brought you to therapy, what's feeling most difficult right now, and what you hope will be different as we work together. There's no pressure to share everything at once or have the "right" words.

My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the very beginning. Together, we'll begin identifying the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, discuss a personalized treatment plan, and explore the therapeutic approaches that best align with your goals. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we'll move at a pace that feels safe, intentional, and meaningful for you.
