Great to meet you!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Marriage & Family Therapist (LCMFT) and also a Certified Grief Therapist and Educator through David Kessler's Grief.com.
My areas of specialization include:
- Grief and loss
- Loneliness
- Life transitions
- Trauma
- Anxiety and Stress
- Perfectionism
- Shame
- Low self-confidence
- Recovery from domestic violence and abuse
I am especially passionate about helping people who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward.
Professionally, my background includes providing therapeutic music services in hospice and NICU settings, as well as individual and group therapy at a domestic violence shelter during my graduate training. Today, I work with individuals and families facing grief, trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
Raised on a farm in Minnesota, I learned early the value of hard work, independence, and perseverance. Later in life, I also learned the importance of asking for help during difficult seasons. My own experiences with loss, trauma, and healing deepened my appreciation for the power of therapy and the importance of having supportive people beside us when life becomes painful or unrecognizable.
