Cindy Witkow is an LCSW with experience specializing in depression, anxiety, perimenopausal symptoms, grief and loss, anger management, as well as stress management and coping skills for better life experiences. Cindy graduated from Fordham University in 1996 with a Masters degree in Social Work. Cindy works with her clients collaboratively to help them identify and reach their desired goals.

My approach to therapy

Cindy creates a non-judgmental and supportive environment where clients feel safe sharing their feelings and thoughts and she is passionate about everyone being able to live their best life. Cindy treats patients ages of 18 years and older utilizing skills that come from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Supportive Therapy, Mindfulness and Person-Centered/Strengths-Based approaches.

Clients can expect to feel empowered, more secure in who they are and improved sense of self-worth. Clients will learn techniques to manage their symptoms and will become increasingly more skilled at utilizing them whenever necessary.
