Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) dedicated to helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing journey. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rowan University.

I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, particularly those navigating the impact of past abusive relationships, including emotional, physical, and domestic violence. I understand how these experiences can shape the way you think, feel, and relate to others—and I’m here to help you make sense of it all in a safe, nonjudgmental space.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you identify unhelpful patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and regain a sense of control and clarity in your life.

Whether you’re working through trauma, struggling with self-esteem, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, deepen your self-awareness, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

I strive to create a space where you can show up as you are—while also feeling supported to grow, heal, and thrive.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique experiences. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and life challenges at your own pace. I believe that therapy works best when you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in your growth process.

I primarily use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Together, we will identify patterns that may be contributing to distress, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and develop practical skills to manage emotions and navigate difficult situations more effectively.

I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those impacted by past abusive relationships. In our work together, we will focus on helping you process these experiences, build emotional resilience, and regain a sense of control and self-trust. I am especially mindful of creating a trauma-informed environment where you feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout the process.

As a bilingual clinician, I also provide services in both English and Spanish, ensuring that language is never a barrier to receiving quality care.

My goal is to help you strengthen self-awareness, improve coping, and reconnect with your sense of self—so you can move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel a mix of emotions. In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported.

We’ll begin by getting to know each other. I’ll ask some questions about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any relevant background information. This helps me better understand your experiences and how I can best support you. You’re welcome to share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to go into everything all at once.

We’ll also review important details such as confidentiality, your goals for therapy, and what you hope to get out of our work together. I’ll take time to answer any questions you may have about the therapy process.

By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying initial goals and discussing a general plan moving forward. Most importantly, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can start to feel safe exploring what’s on your mind.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and this first session is just the beginning of building a strong, supportive foundation for your growth.
