Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience working with children, teens, young adults, and families. I take a trauma-informed approach and integrate evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused. I am a trauma and social justice-informed therapist and work from an antiracist perspective.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping you understand why you feel the way you do. My role is to help you reconnect with your strengths, build emotional safety, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and empowered. I am bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural and strive to provide culturally responsive care that honors your lived experience, values, and identity.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of safety and trust. It's common to feel nervous before the first session. You don't need to prepare anything or know what to say, nor is there pressure to share everything at once; just show up as you are.
