Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Citlalli and I specialize in working with individuals who find themselves feeling stuck, experiencing tension and anxiety, or an overall feeling that things are just “not right.” My approach centers on the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and change when they’re given the right tools and support. I work with people from all walks of life, particularly those who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ and/or Latinx communities. As a board-certified licensed clinical social worker with over 11 years of experience, I’m dedicated to helping you take the steps toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

Throughout the course of our lives, we develop coping strategies in order to deal with the stress and challenges we face. Over time, we form a perception of how the world works and ways to navigate it safely. However, that perception and those coping strategies can become outdated and no longer helpful or useful in our present moment.

Therapy is a deeply personal experience, and I tailor our work to fit your unique needs, challenges, and goals. In our time together, you can expect a safe, judgment-free space where you are respected and heard. We’ll work together to explore new ways of experiencing the world so that you can move forward feeling calm, confident, and empowered.

As a therapist who uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we'll collaborate to identify any thoughts or coping strategies that may no longer be serving you well. CBT is a practical, goal-oriented approach that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, and how changing unhelpful patterns can lead to positive change.
