Great to meet you!

I believe we have the potential for healthy, meaningful relationships, and I am passionate about helping people move closer to their own potential. My counseling approach integrates my professional training in psychology with the wisdom gained through my own life experiences. Having personally walked through abuse and addiction recovery, I understand the challenges of healing and growth on a deeper level. Before pursuing counseling more than 10 years ago, I worked for the U.S. Army, but ultimately followed my passion to work with people in a more personal and meaningful way.

I specialize in working with a wide range of concerns, including marital and relational challenges, addictions (alcohol, drugs, pornography, and sexual), anxiety, depression, spiritual concerns, sexual and physical abuse, gender identity, financial stress, and codependency. I am trained in evidence-based trauma therapies such as RTM, EMDR, and ART.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and also earned a Master’s in Software Engineering. Originally from New York, I previously worked with the U.S. Army before pursuing my passion for counseling over a decade ago. I’ve been happily married for 20+ years and am the proud father of two daughters. Helping others live more authentically.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is centered on the belief that people are capable of building healthy relationships and living more authentic, meaningful lives. I’m passionate about helping clients move toward that growth in a supportive, honest environment.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where they feel safe to be open and heard. In the first session, my focus is on getting to know you and your story, what brings you in, and what you’re hoping to change or improve.

We’ll begin identifying clear goals based on your needs, whether that’s strengthening relationships, working through past experiences, or developing healthier coping patterns. I also use this time to explain how I work and answer any questions, so you feel comfortable and confident moving forward.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction for the work ahead.
