Great to meet you!

I'm Claire. I welcome the exploration of spirituality, faith, personal beliefs, purpose, and the search for meaning as part of the therapeutic process. For many people, healing involves more than reducing symptoms; it can also involve reconnecting with a sense of purpose, discovering what feels meaningful, exploring existential questions, and developing a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you. Spirituality is incorporated in a way that honors your individual beliefs, values, and worldview.

I have a special interest in supporting service members, veterans, and their families as they navigate the unique challenges of military life, deployment, transition, trauma, PTSD symptoms, identity changes, relationship difficulties, and the process of reconnecting with themselves and the people they love.

Therapy can be a space to explore deeper questions: Why do I keep repeating the same patterns? Who am I outside of my roles and responsibilities? What do I want my life to mean? What are my strengths, and how can I use them to build a more fulfilling life? How can I move beyond simply surviving? I would love to explore of these with you.

I am a Jacksonville native and received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Florida and my graduate degree from Florida State University.

My approach to therapy

My primary approaches are Humanistic and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I believe therapy should be a collaborative, compassionate space where you can feel seen, understood, and accepted as your whole self. Together, we can explore the deeper roots of your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationship patterns, and symptoms—not only what you are experiencing, but why.

I integrate Positive Psychology, Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Person-Centered Therapy. This approach allows us to address emotional distress while also identifying your strengths, building resilience, cultivating hope, and creating a life that feels more fulfilling and aligned with your values.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help you better understand yourself, reduce emotional distress, heal from the past, recognize and build upon your strengths, strengthen your relationships, and create a life that feels meaningful, authentic, fulfilling, and aligned with who you are.
