Great to meet you!
Sometimes you know you need support, but seeking assistance when you're overwhelmed feels daunting. Whether you're experiencing pain, loss, life transitions, or simply feeling "off," therapy can be a place where you can slow down, get in touch with yourself, and receive insight from a professional in a nonjudgmental space.
I work with individuals who want to heal from experiences of childhood trauma, interpersonal violence, and abuse. I care just as much about helping clients find solutions to the challenges they face as I care about simply being a compassionate witness in their darkest moments. My years working in community mental health taught me the importance of social context and structural issues in the healing process, and I view individual healing as inextricably linked to collective liberation. As a queer clinician, I welcome LGBTQ+ clients and affirm alternative, nontraditional relationship and family structures. As a trauma-focused provider, I assist people in changing their relationship to painful past experiences so they can spend more time fully in the present.
