Great to meet you!

I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in emergency nursing, where I developed strong skills in crisis support, trauma-informed care, and compassionate communication. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisville and my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2025. My training includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, providing care across the lifespan. I have a special interest in working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, and trauma-related concerns. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. I integrate medication management with therapeutic support and draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based strategies, motivational interviewing, and supportive therapy. I believe in meeting clients where they are and helping them build practical coping skills while developing insight and resilience. My background in emergency medicine allows me to stay grounded and calm while supporting clients through challenging experiences.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you as a whole person including your history, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I create a relaxed, supportive environment where you can share at your own pace without pressure or judgment. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and discussing treatment options that feel realistic and aligned with your needs. Many clients leave the first visit feeling heard, supported, and more hopeful about their path forward.
