Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m really glad you’re here.

I’m a licensed mental health counselor (originally from the UK), and I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or carrying the weight of past experiences. I’m trained in EMDR — a therapy that helps the brain unstick from difficult memories or feared situations so they don’t continue to show up in disruptive ways.

My approach is straightforward and supportive. I’m here to help you make sense of what you’ve been through, and figure out what might help you feel better.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy

I work with adults who are living with the effects of anxiety and unresolved trauma — whether that’s persistent worry, racing thoughts, feeling constantly on edge, or being pulled back into distressing memories that are hard to shake.

In our work together, I use EMDR alongside talk therapy and mindfulness-based tools to help your nervous system settle and your mind begin to process what’s felt overwhelming or stuck. This approach supports healing at both a cognitive and body-based level — so you're not just “talking about it,” but actually shifting how it feels inside.

Many of the people I work with are carrying the weight of past experiences that were too much at the time — whether that’s childhood trauma, loss, relationship wounds, frantic worry about what might happen, or ongoing stress that’s left their system in survival mode. My goal is to offer a space where you feel safe, understood, and not alone in what you’re going through.

Therapy is a space to make sense of what’s happened, but also to reconnect with who you are beneath the anxiety — and start building a life that feels calmer, clearer, and more like your own.

What you can expect from our first session

What to expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s brought you here, your hopes, and any questions or concerns you have.

As we work together, I’ll help you learn practical coping tools — including mindfulness and body-based techniques — to better manage anxiety and difficult emotions. We’ll explore how to process what’s been holding you back, whether that’s painful memories, fears about what migh happen, negative beliefs, or patterns that keep repeating.

Together, we’ll set goals that feel meaningful and achievable for you. Over time you might notice feeling more able to face challenging moments and confident.
