Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I approach therapy as a sacred space for cultural reclamation, emotional healing, and self-rediscovery. My work is especially grounded in supporting Black women, adolescents, and mother–daughter relationships navigating generational trauma, identity struggles, and emotional fatigue.

Clients can expect an authentic, warm, and down-to-earth experience where cultural context is not just acknowledged but centered. I weave in trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive frameworks to support healing on an emotional, spiritual, and ancestral level. My style is relational, reflective, and intuitive — focused on helping you understand your internal world while building the emotional tools to move forward.

Whether you're managing ADHD, life transitions, family dynamics, or are simply tired of masking your pain to keep the peace, our work together can offer clarity, validation, and growth. I'm currently deepening my training in African-centered therapy and consider this season of practice a powerful re-alignment — offering clients the space to be seen, heard, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, culturally grounded, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy should be a space where your full identity — including your culture, family history, and lived experience — is honored and explored without judgment. I center the emotional safety of my clients while gently encouraging insight, accountability, and growth.

I often draw from psychodynamic, family systems, and narrative therapy approaches, but I adapt based on what each client truly needs. I hold space for silence, spiritual reflection, and the emotions that don’t always have words yet. I support clients in exploring patterns, processing grief, healing inner child wounds, and navigating transitions — all while staying deeply attuned to how race, gender, and intergenerational dynamics shape our emotional lives.

I’m currently expanding my practice through African-centered therapy, and I view this journey as a reclamation of voice, dignity, and ancestral resilience. My goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves and their roots — and move toward wholeness, not just symptom relief.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling seen, heard, and emotionally validated — often in ways they may not have experienced before. My hope is that you’ll begin to understand not just your behaviors, but the deeper emotional and cultural roots behind them.

Together, we’ll work to uncover patterns, process pain, and reclaim parts of yourself that have been silenced, minimized, or forgotten. You’ll gain practical tools for emotional regulation, boundary setting, and communication — but more importantly, you’ll reconnect with your inner truth, cultural identity, and sense of purpose.

Many of my clients describe feeling emotionally lighter, more self-aware, and spiritually aligned after our work. Whether you're navigating anxiety life transitions, or generational trauma, our sessions will offer both reflection and action — with space for laughter, tears, silence, and real conversation.
