Great to meet you!

As fellow travelers along the road of life, I believe in the wisdom of sharing the load & supporting each other along the way. Sometimes, the journey aligns with our hopes & dreams; and sometimes it doesn't.

When our stories don't play out as we expected, we may need help getting back on track. With a Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, a Ph.D. in Human Development & Family Studies, and 20+ years of experience, I help people facilitate healthy realignment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is very client-centered, recognizing that building a trusted working alliance is critical to this process. It takes courage to allow someone into your personal journey, and I take that trust seriously.

This is a collaborative process, and I lean on therapeutic approaches from CBT, ACT, DBT, and others while considering the unique contexts of the story (systems view).

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to be seen and understood, challenged and supported, and hopefully empowered to create effective narratives and meaningful change in their lives.

I'm curious by nature, and utilize sincere, inquisitive curiosity to help explore and better understand each person's unique story.
