Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Clarrissa Hazel. I’m Caribbean-born, a preacher’s kid, and someone who deeply values faith, family, culture, resilience, and personal growth. I work with individuals who are navigating life transitions, feeling overwhelmed, working through addiction, or trying to become a healthier version of themselves. I also enjoy helping couples strengthen communication, rebuild connection, and work through patterns that may be creating distance.

My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and encouraged — not judged. Whether you are carrying stress, trying to find balance, rebuilding after a difficult season, or simply wanting more clarity in your life, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you take your next step forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, solution-focused, and strength-based. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or stretched thin from trying to be everything for everyone. Together, we will slow things down, identify what is no longer working, and focus on practical steps that help you create more balance, peace, and direction.

I believe therapy should help you recognize the strengths you already have while also giving you tools to navigate life more effectively. With individuals and couples, I work to simplify the complexities of life, strengthen communication, build healthier coping skills, and help you move toward the goals that matter most to you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, positive, and supportive atmosphere. We will talk about what brought you to therapy in this season of your life, what you hope will be different, and how we can best work together. You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin — we will explore it together.

Whether this is your first time in therapy or you have been in therapy before, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and hopeful. We will build on your strengths, identify possible solutions, and begin creating a path toward healing, growth, and greater clarity in your life and relationships.
