Great to meet you!

Hi!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 13 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Rutgers University and have experience supporting adults through a variety of life challenges and transitions. I primarily work with adults ages 25 and older, with a focus on life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, and depression. As a Black clinician, I value cultural understanding and strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, respected, and comfortable bringing their authentic selves to therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered and individualized, recognizing that no two people or experiences are the same. I believe therapy should be a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly, feel genuinely heard, and work collaboratively toward the changes you want to make. I use empathy, active listening, and evidence-informed therapeutic approaches to help clients better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and build on their existing strengths.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the experience, and the areas of your life you would like to explore. There is no expectation that you have everything figured out before we begin—my goal is to create a comfortable space where we can start at your pace and determine together how I can best support you.
