Claudia Dupre

I offer a LOT of life experience along with my Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Most of my experience has been in Community Mental Health and I have worked with many people with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression and adjustment disorders. I enjoy helping people navigate complex relationships, life challenges and stressful situations.

I am open minded and like to collaborate with clients. I am definitely not one of the blank slate therapists who just nods my head. I will listen and then help you figure out your options when there are decisions to be made. I am non-judgmental and easy to connect with. I use a person-centered approach and believe that building a rapport is the best way to gain trust. I have a bunch of other tools in my toolbox for other situations that may warrant a different approach.

So many of my former clients have commented that they always feel better after meeting with me. They feel heard and validated and as if they have left their burdens behind.
