Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Claudia, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes therapy should feel like a space where you can be fully yourself without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. As a Hispanic therapist, I value cultural identity and understand how family, culture, and personal experiences can shape the way we see ourselves and our relationships. My goal is to create a space that feels warm, genuine, and safe enough to be honest, even when things feel messy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s needs. I draw from CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based approaches, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behavioral patterns. Depending on your goals, we may work on challenging unhelpful thought patterns, building psychological flexibility, strengthening relationships and attachment patterns, or gradually facing fears rather than allowing avoidance to take over. I believe therapy should be both supportive and purposeful, with a balance of compassion, honest conversations, and practical tools.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you, your experiences, strengths, relationships, culture, and what brought you to therapy now. We'll talk about what you'd like to change and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and comfortable with the direction we're taking together. You don't need to have the perfect words or story ready,I’ll help guide the conversation.
