Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor and Spanish speaker with a passion for supporting people from diverse backgrounds in improving their mental health. I am licensed in both South Carolina and Georgia and hold a Trauma Responsive Care Certification through the Tristate Trauma Network. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma related disorders, and perinatal mental health concerns.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic and client centered, and I will collaborate with you to understand what you need most right now. I integrate evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and trauma informed care. Together we may explore your past experiences, thinking patterns, emotional distress, problem solving skills, and coping strategies.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I understand it takes courage to be authentic and vulnerable with someone new, and I will move at a pace that feels safe for you. You can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where your story is heard and respected. We will begin to clarify your goals and gently explore your experiences, thoughts, emotions, problem solving, and coping strategies so you leave with a sense of direction and hope.
