Great to meet you!

Congratulations on making it this far in the journey! I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with clinical experience helping individuals, families, teens, and adolescents navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and family stress. I specialize in working with teens and families, providing a supportive and collaborative space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered as they move toward healing, resilience, and growth. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which allows me to support clients in processing painful experiences, strengthening coping skills, and building healthier patterns. My goal is to help clients feel supported while reconnecting with the strengths they already carry.

My approach to therapy

My approach is strengths-based, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that each client has unique strengths and the capacity for growth. Rather than telling clients what to do, I walk alongside them as they uncover insight, resilience, and answers that already exist within them. In session, we may work on understanding trauma responses, building coping skills for anxiety or depression, improving emotional regulation, strengthening communication, exploring family or relationship patterns, and creating practical steps toward healing. My style is warm, collaborative, respectful, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy should be a safe space where clients feel empowered, supported, and capable of meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a welcoming, relaxed conversation where we begin getting to know one another and exploring what brings you to therapy. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. We will discuss your current concerns, strengths, goals, relationships, family dynamics, and hopes for therapy. Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, or family challenges, we will begin identifying what support feels most meaningful and aligned with your needs. Together, we will determine whether we are a good fit and begin developing a plan for healing, growth, and lasting change.
