Great to meet you!

You don't have to have the right words before you walk in, or log on. I'm Claudia, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor offering telehealth therapy across Texas. With ten years of experience working with adolescents and adults, I specialize in anxiety, depression, postpartum experiences, and identity and self-esteem concerns. I've also walked alongside individuals navigating trauma, emotional and physical abuse, and the weight of simply trying to hold it all together.

I'm warm, unhurried, and direct, the kind of therapist who won't let you stay stuck in circles but also won't rush you past something that needs space. I work with preteens, teens, adults, and older adults, seeing individuals and families. If you've been waiting until things get "bad enough" to reach out, this is your sign: you don't have to earn your way into therapy.

My approach to therapy

I'm a solution-focused therapist, which means we don't camp out in the problem. We look at what's happening, make sense of it together, and start building something more sustainable. My work is collaborative and grounded: I bring honesty and real presence to every session, not a script or a checklist.

I work with adolescents and adults on anxiety, depression, postpartum adjustment, trauma, self-esteem, and coping skills. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, one where you're not performing or translating yourself, just being met where you are. Sessions are available in both English and Spanish.

What you can expect from me

A first session with me is simple: we get to know each other. You share what brought you here, as much or as little as feels right, and we start mapping out what you're hoping for. There's no pressure to have a crisis or a perfectly articulated problem. You don't have to be "okay" to begin, and you'll never need to shrink parts of your story for me to understand.

You set the pace. I follow your lead. By the end, you'll have a clearer sense of whether we're a good fit, and most clients tell me it feels a lot less scary than they expected.
