Claudia M. Rodriguez Amarce

I am someone who was born and raised in a rural town in Colombia, migrated as a child, and has learned to adapt to new environments and cultures ever since. I have finally grown into my own!

Amarce means "self-love"; it's founded on the belief that healing requires us to go back to our roots, rediscover ourselves with openness and compassion, and learn to love all parts of ourselves.

Hurt does not discriminate, but healing is possible!

Therapy will be a mix of experiences in sorting through impactful and significant moments that have shaped you. We will make way for a perfectly imperfect human experience!

My interventions will allow for thoughts, feelings, body sensations to be tools in the process. EMDR will be one of my first choices, but not my only treatment method. Equipped with B.A. in Psychology from Penn State the Behrend College and M.A. in Social Work from Rutgers University.

Humans 14 years and older are welcomed!
