Great to meet you!

I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board Certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. I have worked with children, adolescents, young and old adults suffering from mild to severe mental health issues and difficulties with life transitions. In an environment where they felt heard, respected and safe, they engaged in a journey of self-discovery. They experienced improvement in symptoms, achieved their therapeutic goals and moved on with skills for a better life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My theoretical orientation is both humanistic and person-centered. I believe that the development of a strong therapeutic alliance between the client and the therapist is key to success in counseling. I approach therapy with compassion and empathy. I believe in the wisdom that each one of my clients possess to solve their own problems.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients will learn to trust their inner knowing, to recognize and validate their emotions, to be comfortable with themselves, and to find their voice.
