Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual English Spanish psychotherapist and clinical consultant in New York with extensive experience in outpatient mental health settings and in private practice. Relational trauma, dyadic work with parents and babies, life transitions like divorce, loss, coping with college related challenges and entering the workforce, and in general anxiety and depression have been at the core of my clinical work.

My approach to therapy

I grew up and initially trained in Buenos Aires, which has more psychotherapists per capita than any other city in the world. There I learned psychodynamic modalities of treatment. In the US I trained in relational, family and behavioral approaches. I have now an integrative approach that focuses more on the client's needs than on a specific framework or modality of treatment.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to ask questions, offer ideas, reflect to you what I hear in your verbal and nonverbal language, offer you possible strategies to try out, discuss coping skills, help you connect ideas, feelings and experiences.

You will gain mastery over your own thoughts and emotions, liberating energy that was tied up in painful symptoms to build the life you want to live and go where you want to go.
