Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Dr. Clay Connelly, but please just call me "Clay." I'm a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience in mental health and wellness. I specialize in many areas, including anxiety, depression, anger management, and trauma recovery. In general, I'm passionate about helping individuals navigate life as a whole and improve their mental health and overall well-being.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work to integrate counseling theories in order to provide optimal treatment for all I encounter. I like to start with learning all I can with an assessment and identifying client's goals. We will work on these, while I apply interventions situationally. I use a variety of treatment modalities, including but not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect me to lend an understanding, nonjudgmental ear. Clients can expect to gain insight and skills, along with an increased ability to apply these toward their specific goals.
