Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My background includes working in schools, military communities, and private practice settings, which has given me a deep understanding of the unique challenges people face in different life stages and environments. I am passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported, respected, and empowered to grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, family systems work, and trauma-informed care. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a partnership—together, we identify your goals, explore patterns that may be holding you back, and build tools for lasting change. I also emphasize compassion, authenticity, and cultural sensitivity in every session.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you, your story, and what brought you to therapy. We’ll explore your goals and clarify what you hope to achieve. I’ll also explain my therapeutic process and answer any questions you may have, so you feel comfortable and confident moving forward. My goal for the first meeting is to create a welcoming, supportive space where you feel heard and understood, while beginning to lay the foundation for positive change.
