Great to meet you!

I guess you want to know about me, and maybe you’re skeptical about therapy. I don’t blame you there’s a lot of BS out there. I am married with 2 new kids and I love shooting guns, martial arts, playing with my dogs, hiking, sailing, and having adventures with my friends and family. I have lived all over the world and enjoyed many cultures. While pursuing my own healing I found many false teachers and systems which were okay but incomplete. In general there’s a lot of feel good positive thinking pop psychology that aims to affirm whatever you believe and give you a gentle “safe space.” If that’s what you’re looking for then this isn’t for you. I will get in there with you and go deep, but I won’t waste my time or yours it’s too valuable. I love this work I do and I believe it’s what God put me here to do. I could tell you all my credentials school degree ect, but what really matters is that what makes me a good therapist is that I have struggled so much myself and after much avoidance and fighting I finally had the courage to face the deeper truth. What I offer you is a what I know works.

My approach to therapy

I help people live a life more consistent with their values. In general I help people get to the bottom of compulsive actions that seem out of control. I help people who suffer from sex addiction and same sex attractions. I use a number of modalities which all link back to ancient wisdom found in the Bible and are evidence based. I am a Christian, but work with clients from all walks of life and do not push my faith on anyone. You do not need to be christian for this therapy to work. As the client you are in the drivers seat so you tell me where you want to go and we will go on the ride together.

What you can expect from me

I won’t promise quick fixes, but I will show up fully, tell you the truth as I see it, and walk with you as you do the hard work of change. If you’re ready to dig deep, face what you’ve been avoiding, and build something stronger on the other side, I’d be honored to work with you.
