Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Clemmy, a white woman in my early 40s, a parent, and a queer person. I support people who are struggling with grief about personal losses and/or about the state of the world. I also especially love working with people who: are parents or on the journey of becoming parents; are struggling with shame; have inherited or excess wealth and are wanting to live their values and feel unsure whether or how to do that.

My approach to therapy

We work together to create the space and direction you need so we can deeply explore what you are going through. I'll offer tools to help us tune into what your mind, heart, and gut are saying: What needs to be expressed? What internal parts of you need attention? What have you been holding on your own that we can hold together? I use a Liberation Psychology approach which means we often explore how we have internalized society's oppressive systems and how we can get you as free as possible from internalized and external forms of oppression.

What you can expect from me

Non-judgmental, no fakeness, deep listening. During the first sessions I will be asking you a lot of questions and we will be exploring what you are going through and what changes you are needing. At the beginning of the 5th session we check in on our goals and direction and confirm whether my therapy approach is what you need and want.
