Great to meet you!

As a Black queer transgender therapist, I am committed to supporting clients on their evolving journey through a collaborative, client-driven therapeutic process tailored to fit each person's unique needs.

I work with individuals on issues related to anxiety, bipolar disorder, coping skills, cultural stress, depression, domestic violence, grief, LGBTQIA+ topics, mood disorders, racial identity, relationship issues, sexual abuse, sexual orientation, stress, substance use, suicidal ideation, transgender issues, trauma and PTSD.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach draws primarily from ACT, CBT, EMDR, and Relational orientations. I view therapy as a partnership where my role is to provide support, guidance, and clinical knowledge in a nonjudgmental and safe environment while highlighting your strengths and capabilities.

My communication style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I aim to create a safe, shame-free space where you feel heard and validated. Through open and nonjudgmental dialogue, we'll work together to explore your experiences, thoughts, and emotions at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and collaborate to identify your unique needs, challenges, and aspirations. This will allow us to establish a strong therapeutic alliance and develop a personalized treatment plan aligned with your goals.
