Cleopatra Zhonga

My name is Cleo and I am a Licensed mental health counselor certified in ERP therapy for OCD. I graduated with my Masters of Science in Education in counseling at Alfred University. I have worked with diverse populations and have helped adults navigate through anxiety disorders, emotional dysregulation, phobias and obsessive compulsive disorders.

My counseling philosophy is rooted in the belief that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are intricately interconnected. Together, we'll challenge perspectives, confront unhelpful learned behaviors, identify triggers and patterns, learn emotional regulation and distress tolerance skills and navigate interpersonal conflict resolutions. Additionally, I offer ERP therapy which is the gold standard treatment for OCD where we will conquer fears together and break free from OCD's control.

I approach your journey and each session with empathy, kindness, and without judgment. Aside from being a therapist I am also human and my clients appreciate a therapeutic relationship where we can be real and leave the session feeling as if you'd just talked to a friend. I am here to offer you a safe and supportive space where we can navigate challenges together.
