Great to meet you!

I completed my PhD and MSW at the University of Utah, where I received comprehensive training in clinical social work and mental health treatment. Through my education and professional experience, I have developed extensive clinical training supporting both adult and adolescent clients facing a range of challenges, including trauma and PTSD, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. My work has focused on providing compassionate, evidence-based care while helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and move toward greater emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

I take a direct, nonjudgmental, and solution-focused approach grounded in client self-determination and evidence-based care. I believe that each person has the capacity for growth and change, and my role is to help support that process with practical tools and thoughtful guidance. I use proven cognitive behavioral strategies to help clients overcome trauma and manage depression, anxiety, and other debilitating mental health conditions.

In our work together, we will focus on identifying patterns that may be contributing to distress, developing healthier ways of thinking and responding, and building skills that support greater stability and resilience. My goal is to help you feel more confident navigating challenges and better equipped to move forward in a way that aligns with your values and goals.

What you can expect from me

Collaboratively, we will evaluate your concerns in the context of relevant biological, psychological, and social factors using a combination of open-ended interview questions and standardized assessments. This process allows us to develop a fuller understanding of your experiences, strengths, and the challenges you may be facing.

This initial evaluation session will provide the foundation for thoughtful recommendations and collaborative goal setting as we begin planning for therapy. Together, we will identify priorities and create a treatment plan that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process.
