Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a multi-state counselor (TX & CO - LPC, CA - LPCC) with over 15 years of experience in mental health and recovery-oriented care. At my practice, The Person Center, PLLC, I specialize in helping high-functioning adults who may look successful on the outside, but internally feel exhausted by complex trauma, high-functioning anxiety, relational patterns, or burnout. I focus on serving introspective achievers, caretakers, and professionals who are stuck in a cycle of overthinking, "buzzing" anxiety, or sudden emotional shutdown. My goal is to help you step out of chronic survival mode and into genuine, lasting peace.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in a simple belief: you are not broken, and you do not need to be fixed. The anxiety, perfectionism, or emotional walls you carry aren't character flaws—they are intelligent survival strategies your system built to keep you safe. Standard talk therapy helps us understand our past, but it doesn't always change how our body feels in the present. Instead of just teaching coping skills, I use experiential and body-centered modalities to work directly with your nervous system. We will focus on creating deep relational safety so your body realizes the old threat is over, allowing your calm, regulated core self to emerge.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a warm, low-pressure space where you don't have to perform or have all the answers. Rather than a cold clinical interrogation, our first meeting is a collaborative conversation to explore what’s exhausting you and what you want your life to look like moving forward. We will map out how your nervous system responds to stress and identify the survival patterns ready to be retired. You’ll leave our initial session with a clearer understanding of your mind-body connection, a sense of safety in our partnership, and a tailored plan to start reclaiming your peace.
