Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist rooted in the North Houston area, specializing primarily in men’s issues. My work centers on helping men navigate identity, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, performance pressures, and the internal conflicts that often stay hidden. I also work extensively with men facing porn addiction, sex addiction, compulsive sexual behavior, and the relational fallout that can follow. I offer a grounded, steady space where men can slow down, feel understood, and rebuild discipline, clarity, and connection.

While men’s mental health is the core of my practice, I also draw on years of specialized training in couples therapy, attachment dynamics, and betrayal recovery. I help partners understand one another more clearly, communicate with intention, and strengthen connection through practical tools and emotionally attuned guidance.

In addition to this work, I support older adults and geriatric clients as they navigate life transitions, cognitive and emotional changes, and the unique relational challenges that come with aging. I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, providing clarity, structure, and a therapeutic environment that supports meaningful, lasting change.

My style is direct, collaborative, and deeply human—centered on insight, accountability, and genuine connection.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in a calm, emotionally attuned presence that helps feel safe, and make sense of the patterns shaping their relationships and inner world. I draw from family systems, attachment theory CBT, solution-focused therapy, and communication science, blending emotional insight with practical tools that clients can use immediately in their daily lives. Whether I’m working with individuals or couples, I focus on helping people understand the “why” beneath their reactions, communicate with more clarity and compassion, and build healthier, more connected ways of relating. I don’t just nod; I engage with you, offer perspective, and help you move toward meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a first session that feels calm, structured, and genuinely welcoming—a space where you don’t have to perform, defend, or have everything figured out. I start by getting to know what brings you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you hope will feel different, while also helping you slow down enough to notice the emotions and patterns underneath the surface story. My goal in that first hour is to create a sense of safety and clarity: you’ll understand how I work, what the early phase of therapy looks like, and what we’ll focus on together. I ask thoughtful questions, offer gentle but direct reflections, and help you identify the first small shifts that can make the work feel doable. The environment is warm, grounded, and non‐judgmental, an invitation to exhale and begin the process with honesty and intention.
