Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and private practice owner of Strength of Soul Christian Counseling Inc. (strengthofsoul.net) with over ten years of experience working with individual and couples. I obtained my Masters in Professional Counseling from Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, PA. I specialize in: church hurt, Christian counseling, and sexual addiction. I love hearing others' stories and helping them bring about integration and healing. My mission is: Facilitating the integration of the head and the heart through the therapeutic relationship, valuing of story, and the course of time. My vision is: To see healthy and connected disciples engaging their larger story.

My approach to therapy

How I like to describe therapy: the intentional process of honestly engaging your story in the present of someone else (trauma, attachments, modeling, beliefs, emotions, spirituality). It is crucial to not do this alone. I consider it an honor and a privilege to witness your story.

What you can expect from me

We will discuss the pieces that are needed to develop a safe environment (limits to confidentiality, honesty, etc.). We will go over needed administrative policies (scheduling, insurance, fees, cancellation policy, and how to contact me). We will review what brings you into therapy and collaborate on your goals for our work together. We will determine if we are a good fit to work together and coordinate future scheduling.
