Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Psychology. I've been a therapist for 14 years. I have been helping people heal from struggles originating in the past and look forward to helping you!

My approach to therapy

I like to help people feel better about themselves and the body that they're in despite with they have been told by others or society at large. I want you to feel like you are good enough to be seen in any space you want to be in. I take a directive approach, in that I want to give you the tools to help yourself and not be dependent on therapy. I use EMDR, artistic expression, and stress management skills to help people deal with the here-and-now and make long lasting progress.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we will get to know each other. I will lay out my approach to therapy, and we can decide if we are a good fit for each other. We will set some goals and make a loose plan for how to get you on the path to your best self!
